How it works
Four steps. Zero surprises.
Most families call us at a bad moment — a fall, a discharge, a diagnosis. Here's exactly what happens next, so the call is the easy part.
A gentle conversation
It starts with an email or a message — answered by an owner, not a call centre. If it feels right, we come to the house for a free in-home visit. We listen more than we talk: what's hard, what's working, what you'd hate to give up. If you're calling for a parent, they're in the room and in the conversation.
No pressure. Half these visits end with 'not yet' — and that's fine.
A care plan & a careful match
Within a few days you get a written care plan and a rate in writing — before anything starts. Then we match a caregiver: not just availability, but personality. Someone who'll talk gardening with you, or sit through the same crossword every Thursday.
You approve the match before the first visit — you, not just your family.
The first visit
Introductions done properly, at your pace. Often we join the first visit ourselves. There's no meter running on making it feel right — if the match isn't clicking, we change it. No awkwardness, no fee.
Most first visits are short and sweet: tea, talk, one small job done.

Check-ins, always
After every early visit, you hear from us — and so does whoever you'd like kept in the loop, honestly, including the hard days. As things settle, updates come as often as you want them. And as needs change, the plan changes. Nothing is locked in, ever.
You'll always know who is in the house, and when.

Discharge is Friday? We can usually start within 24–48 hours.
Tell us the date. We'll build the plan around it.
